Nantucket Family Photos in a Lupine Field

Spring on Nantucket is a beautiful time for portraits, especially when the island begins to bloom with wildflowers. This Nantucket family photo session took place in a hidden field filled with lupine flowers and soft golden light, creating the perfect natural backdrop for a young family.

As a Nantucket family photographer, I love sessions like this that feel quiet, relaxed, and connected to the season. These are the types of portraits that feel timeless years later.

A Spring Nantucket Family Portrait Session

This session featured a young family of three, including mom, dad, and their baby daughter. Dad serves in the Air Force, and mom is a local Nantucket flower grower, so photographing them in a field of blooming lupines felt especially meaningful.

The setting was peaceful and tucked away, giving us plenty of space to move slowly, follow the light, and capture natural moments as their daughter explored the flowers and snuggled close to her parents.
